StaterFi · Ethereum mainnet

Borrow against your Bitcoin or ETH. Keep the upside.

Deposits and withdrawals are open today. Borrowing dollars against your deposit opens once our fee contract is deployed. Your wallet, your keys; nothing is held by us.

not connected

StaterFi never holds your money and cannot touch it. You sign every transaction in your own wallet, and approvals are for the exact amount of each action — never unlimited. Deposits and withdrawals cost nothing; borrowing carries a flat 3% origination fee, shown before you confirm. ETH moves as plain ETH: no wrapping, nothing extra to hold.

This is not a risk-free way to hold Bitcoin or ETH. A loan against it can be liquidated if the price falls far enough; rates change; smart-contract and oracle risk apply. Your funds are held by an established third-party lending protocol on Ethereum, which StaterFi does not operate or control; its contract address is in the footer, and the Risk Disclosure says more. StaterFi's own lending market is still in development and not on mainnet; nothing here touches it.

"Borrow up to" is the protocol's loan-to-value limit for that asset: the most you can owe against its value. "Earn" is what a deposit pays; "Borrow APR" is what a loan costs. Both are the protocol's variable rates, read live.

Who holds what

Spend

The dollars you borrow are USDC or USDT in your own wallet, and they can go anywhere an Ethereum address can. StaterFi charges nothing to move them; the Ethereum network fee applies.

In your wallet
—
Send to a person, a merchant, or the deposit address an exchange or service gives you. The address must be on the Ethereum network: at an exchange, choose Ethereum (ERC-20) as the deposit network. One transaction, no approval, no undo. The page checks that the address is not a contract; it cannot check which network the other side expects.
Over Lightning
Sats
Lightning moves bitcoin, so the dollars take one step: a service that accepts USDC on Ethereum and pays out over Lightning gives you a deposit address; you send the dollars there with the button on the left and they arrive in your Lightning wallet as sats. StaterFi never touches that step. Which services do this well is being checked now and will be listed here.
To a bank
Cash
Send the dollars to the deposit address of an exchange or payment app you have an account with, on the Ethereum network. Then sell, withdraw to your bank, or pay from the balance. Its own rules and limits apply.

Help

Stuck, or something looks wrong? Write to [email protected] with what you were doing and, if there is one, the transaction link from your wallet. A person reads every message. We will never write to you first, and we will never ask for a seed phrase, a private key or a “verification” transaction. Anyone who does is not us.

How do I get ETH into my wallet?
  1. In the exchange or app where you keep crypto, buy ETH, or convert some of what you hold into ETH.
  2. Withdraw it to your wallet's address and choose the Ethereum network, often labelled ERC-20. A cheaper network will deliver it somewhere this page cannot see.
  3. Send a small amount first and check that it arrived. Then send the rest, and keep about a dollar of ETH aside for network fees.

No exchange account? Most wallets have a Buy button; the identity check and the fee are the provider's. Bitcoin works here only as a token on Ethereum (WBTC, cbBTC or tBTC). Some exchanges will withdraw Bitcoin as WBTC on the Ethereum network. If yours does not, ETH is the simpler way in.

What happens if my loan is liquidated?

There is no warning and no grace period. When the health factor falls below 1, anyone may repay your loan and take that much of your collateral plus the protocol's penalty: 5% on ETH and WBTC and 7.5% on cbBTC and tBTC when this was written. While the loan or the collateral behind it is worth less than 2,000 dollars, the whole loan can be closed in one go. What is left of the collateral stays yours. Borrowing about half of the maximum is what keeps a loan clear of this.

What if this page is down?

Your money does not depend on it. Deposits sit in the lending pool under your own address, and any other interface to the same protocol reaches them with the same wallet. The pool contract is here on Etherscan.

StaterFi · Ethereum mainnet

Built so you don’t have to trust us.

Most interfaces ask for your confidence. This one is designed to need as little of it as possible — and to show you the rest.

Non-custodial by construction
Deposits move from your wallet directly into the lending protocol’s own contracts. StaterFi never takes possession, and has no ability to move, freeze or recover your funds.
Exact-amount approvals
Where most interfaces request unlimited access to your tokens, we request only what the transaction needs — nothing held in reserve.
One flat fee, on borrowing only
Supplying and withdrawing cost nothing, and we receive nothing from the protocol. Borrowing through StaterFi carries a flat 3% origination fee, shown before you confirm and capped in the contract.
Verifiable, not asserted
The pool contract’s address is shown on every screen. Confirm it on Etherscan before you sign.
